The Food Poverty Summit engages students in meaningful discussions about the causes and long-term effects of food poverty.

It provides a space for sharing, self-reflection, experiential learning, and exploring food literacy, student activism, and food kinship. The summit also aims to strengthen communal bonds, build supportive networks, and promote inclusivity in academic settings.
