Tonight we will be exploring the solar plexus chakra through dancing the element of fire, which is symbolic of transformation..
The solar plexus chakra is associated with our 'gut instincts', personal power and will.
It is from this chakra that we connect with our innate masculine energy (which resides within both men and women). The potency of this energy is heavily influenced by our relationship with power. Many of us give our power and control away to others. This eventually leads to low self-esteem, and a loss of drive, will and spontaneity.
In this workshop, we will begin with a tea ceremony, acknowledging and welcoming in our guides, our ancestors, our tribe. I will then guide you on an inner journey into your solar plexus chakra, The Dance of Power.
This is a transformational journey of burning away old beliefs, perceptions, energies. Actively dancing the fire helps to release the old energy from our bodies, as well as our minds. In the final part of the dance, we invoke our inner masculine, or yang, energy and allow him to emerge through the dance. He might be a warrior, a hero, a leader. Meet him in an inner journey and hear and see his messages.
Dancing knowledge isn't needed. Just close your eyes and let the journey take you wherever you need to go.

What to bring: a bottle of water and something for the sacred alter
What to wear: comfortable clothes and as the colour of the solar plexus chakra is yellow you may want to bring in a splash of yellow or a whole lot of sunshine
