Annual Armistice Day program sponsored by Milwaukee Veterans For Peace to reclaim the day as one to promote and celebrate peace, not mllitarismMusic at 6:30, a return engagement with well-known Milwaukee singer-songwriters, Holly Haebig and Harvey Taylor. Holly has played in a number of local bands, and is a vocalist who also plays guitar and flute. Harvey, a poet, singer and guitarist, has performed with her at times. The pair recorded an album together in 2007 and performed at our 2023 Armistice Day event.

*** Zeiad Abbas Shamrouch, is a Palestinian refugee from the West Bank & a journalist who has worked with Palestinian and international media. He is the Executive Director at the Middle East Children’s Alliance in Berkeley, California.
