Dr. King with a recital of vocal music followed by the service of Choral Evensong.Join the Choir of St. David’s on Sunday, January 19 for the annual Recital and Evensong for the Feast of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The event begins at 4:30 pm with a recital by mezzo-soprano Taylor Hillary Boykins, including music of Margaret Bonds, Xavier Montsalvatge, and Kathryn Bostic, with the Service of Evensong following at 5:00 pm.The event is free and open to the public, with doors opening at 4:00 pm.
A suggested donation of $10-$20 directly benefits the musicians and the music series.
