Dr Matt Pope is well known in local circles as for many years he has been focussing on the early prehistory of the English Channel region, with special focus on the Palaeolithic sites of La Cotte de St Brelade, Jersey, and Boxgrove in the United Kingdom.As Matt will say, there remains an enormous amount of archaeological work to be done through projects which will probably endure for many more years. Matt will be here in the Island this summer, and this is your chance to catch up with what he is involved with.
