About this Event

Recap is the comedy show you need to feel up-to-speed on Olympic swimming. Just days after the final aquatic race in Tokyo, Laura, Matt and Rob will explain and entertain with their comic, personal, and scientific takes on the sport of swimming.

Laura Sogar is a former professional swimmer who failed to make the Olympics. Thankfully she's kinda funny and her stand up comedy has been featured in the New York Times and Time Out Magazine. She co-hosts the "She Does Standup Too?" podcast and yes, she's met Michael Phelps. Read more here: https://www.laurasogar.com/

Matt Broussard is a stand up comedian and actor, and creator of the popular MondayPunday puzzles. His comedy has propelled him to sets on Conan, Fallon and Comedy Central, and he co-hosts the "She Does Standup Too?" podcast - check out more here: https://mondaypunday.com/matthewbroussard

Rob Frawley, PhD is a former DI college swimmer, NYC Masters swimmer and coach, and the Head Coach of the New York Athletic Club swim team which sent 3 swimmers to the Tokyo games. Rob holds a degree in Biophysics, teaches science with BioBus (www.biobus.org), co-hosts the Facts Machine Podcast (www.factsmachinepodcast.com) and is a 1-time Punderdome champion.

Steven Rogers is a New York City based comedian who made his national TV debut in 2019 on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Steven’s comedic ability has established him in numerous comedy clubs and as a regular opener for Brian Regan in theaters across the country. He also used to swim.
