Sound Healing and 3 Gear Breathing with ‘Recalibrate & Respirate’ (Laura & Jack)SUMMARY
This is a 4-stage sound bath and breath flow, consisting of 3 rounds of 3 different speeds (or gears) of breath allocated to each chakra (sound bowl) followed by a sound bath to wind down the session.
Excellent for beginners but also leaves room for the more experienced to delve deeper.
DETAIL
Laura grounds us into the space with her root chakra bowl while Jack explains the exercise to the group. We will do 3 rounds of the guided breathwork called ‘3 gear breathing’, each gear going for 3 minutes and changing in intensity/pace:
The first gear is a 4 second inhale/4 second exhale; the second gear is 4 second inhale/3 second exhale and the third gear is 2 second inhale/2 second exhale and an additional 30 second breath hold (inhale) at the end.
With each gear we work on, Laura will be working her way up the energy centres/chakras to help raise the energy/frequency of the gear with the crystal sound bowls. We will be moving through each gear with the breathwork and each chakra until we reach the crown to have a final breath hold - then a final release/exhale and back to a normal breathing state for about 5 minutes before the next round.
Each round will last about 15 minutes. At the end of the third round Laura will then continue playing the crystal sound bowls for the remaining 15-20 minutes until finishing up by grounding us back into the space. In total, the class will last 1 hour and 20 mins roughly.
After being grounded back into the space, there will be time for a debrief/feedback and cacao and light refreshments.
BIO
Laura and Jack are two health practitioners from the south coast of NSW.
Laura Ashlee (Recalibrate) is a qualified Sound Healer training through VibroSounds, a qualified Reiki Master and Subconscious DNA Healer.
Jack (Respirate) is a qualified Breathwork Instructor trained under Breathless Expeditions and an Artist/Writer.
Together they have combined forces to engineer a variety of exciting Sound Bath and Breathflow workshops, under the group name ‘Recalibrate & Respirate’.
All are welcome - having prior breathwork experience is beneficial but if anything becomes too much, you have the sound bath to fall back into with your breath.
