Reboot Workshop – Nelson, Aotearoa | 11–12 September 2025
The Hotel Nelson, Waimea Road
🧠 Brought to you by BrainHug Charitable Trust, supported by Rātā Foundation
Are you ready to lead the way in whole-brain, trauma-transformative education?
Join us for Aotearoa’s first-ever Reboot Workshop, right here in Whakatū / Nelson — the emotional centre of the motu and home to the very first New Zealand schools piloting this proven, neuroscience-based framework.
Reboot is a practical model developed over 15 years in classrooms across Australia. It blends neuroscience, positive psychology, mindfulness, and behaviour science to build resilience, regulation, and readiness to learn — for children, young people, and the adults who walk alongside them.
This workshop is perfect for:
Educators and leaders in early childhood, primary, secondary, learning support and tertiary education
Health professionals and whānau support services
Anyone passionate about creating calm, connected, learning-ready environments
Why attend?
✔ Gain regulation strategies and ready-to-use resources
✔ Learn practical ways to build self-awareness and co-regulation
✔ Develop the confidence to respond to behaviour through a neuroscience lens
✔ Explore how to nurture courageous learners and connected classrooms
✔ Discover how emotionally regulated adults create regulated tamariki
✔ Connect with other change-makers across sectors
Nelson schools are leading the way - proudly supported by BrainHug Charitable Trust and the Rātā Foundation. Be part of this pioneering movement as we bring Reboot to Aotearoa and plant the seeds of transformation, one nervous system at a time.
