History Student's Scientific Society at the Jagiellonian University, Student Council of the Faculty of History at the Jagiellonian University, and Polish Historical Association – Branch in Krakow are thrilled to invite you to the III Cracovian Congress of History Students in Krakow, Poland, taking place on May 8–10, 2025!
This year’s theme: "Rebellions, Uprisings, and Revolutions throughout the ages" 🏛️⚔️🌍
From ancient revolts to modern protests, we’ll explore pivotal moments of radical change that shaped history, societies, and cultures across the globe.

Abstracts and papers must be in English. Presentations are 20 minutes + discussion.
We’re covering rebellions, uprisings and revolutions from antiquity to the 21st century! Feel free to explore topics like:
🔸 Ancient & Medieval rebellions
🔹 Major modern revolutions (e.g., French, American, English)
🔸 National uprisings and struggles for independence in the 19th and 20th centuries;
🔹 Social and cultural revolutions of the 20th century (e.g., Russian, Chinese, Cuban, Protests of 1968, Sexual revolution;
🔸 Peaceful revolutions and protests (e.g., the Velvet Revolution, Hong Kong protests);
🔹 Contemporary protest movements (e.g., Arab Spring, climate protests, feminist movements);
🔸 Women in revolutionary movements;
🔹 Causes and consequences of revolutions in political, economic, and cultural dimensions.
We encourage you to formulate your own paper topic within the Congress theme 💪🙌
