About this Event

U11 through to our Open competitors are invited to join us at Glenelg for a weekend of development with Rebecca Creedy and Rhett Collie.

Two days of intensive training targeting needs specific to our surf club.

• Specific work with the athletes to help progress there skills and race performance

• Inclusion of local coaches for personal progression in programming and session delivery.

• Sessions include:

• Water - Cardio, skill and land based sessions

• Personal Development - Nutritional advice, Motivation, Training & Race Analysis

Morning Tea and Lunch will be provided both days. $20 Fee will cover food costs.

Rebecca began her professional sporting career at 14 in the Australian Swimming team. She competed in 1998 and 2002 commonwealth games, winning gold, silver and bronze medals along with setting a commonwealth record. Rebecca began Surf life Saving at the age of 23 and within 18 months qualified for the Kellogg's Nutri-grain series and placed in the Coolangatta gold 3 years in a row. The pinnacle of her surf career was winning the Australian and World Ironwoman Championships.

Rhett Collie is currently the head coach at Tallebudgera SLSC and has a long history coaching most disciplines in the water at an elite level. He programs for Juniors through to masters.
