📅 January - Foundations of the Craft: Philosophy, Traditions & Identity: The journey begins here. Month 1 invites you into the heart of Witchcraft—not through stereotypes or sensationalism, but through truth, lineage, and lived wisdom. Together, we’ll explore the roots of the Craft, the evolution of its traditions, and what it genuinely means to call oneself a witch in the modern world.
You’ll learn how Witchcraft developed as both a philosophy and a spiritual practice, why it’s not a religion (but can weave into one), and how different traditions across time shaped the practices we know today. We’ll discuss the Witch’s Laws, ethics, and moral grounding, along with the often-misunderstood relationship between witchcraft and Christian symbolism.
This month also marks the beginning of your personal Book of Shadows or Grimoire — a sacred space to record insights, spells, and growth throughout your journey. You’ll receive a small grimoire to begin this work as your monthly gift. Expect discussion, reflection, and an introduction to the foundational ideas that hold the Craft together. This class sets the tone for the entire series: authentic, empowering, grounded, and deeply rooted in ancient knowing.

🕊️ About Your Instructor: Sarafina is a wise woman and hereditary witch born into a long tradition of green witches and teachers. Having taught everything she's learned or remembered, Sarafina is a student of life and is a certified yoga teacher, Reiki master, herbalist, nutrition and wellness consultant, as well as a practicing witch for over 50 years.When asked to explain what it is she does, it comes down to who she is.... Her Magick is innate and through a variety of channels, she is able to enlighten, empower and embody others throughout their soul's journey of Maiden, Mother and Crone.
Sarafina deeply understands the significance of empowering each individual to discover their true, authentic self by encouraging the exploration of their intuition. She believes that every person has a unique path, and through guided support, individuals can uncover their inner truth and embrace who they truly are.
Drawing from years of dedicated practice and study, Sarafina developed her own comprehensive course on witchcraft. She is enthusiastic about sharing her accumulated experience and wisdom with anyone who seeks to learn, creating a welcoming space for those who are curious about or committed to the path of witchcraft.
