Jared Wilk | GBAR President | Compass

Honesty and integrity are two of the defining characteristics of Jared. Combine these with an upbeat, positive and contagious personality, and it is no wonder why homeowners and buyers choose to work with him.

Following in the footsteps of his dad and grandfather, real estate is in Jared’s DNA. Growing up in a real estate family, Jared learned the timeless core principles of selling and developing real estate, but he also understands the modern tools and tactics. His blend of traditional and outside the box thinking brings a new style and energy to the art of real estate.

Currently the President of The Greater Boston Association of Realtors, Jared takes a lot of pride in being a Realtor and bettering the industry. Appointed as a Director for the Greater Boston Association of Realtors in 2013, Jared has since chaired, vice-chaired and served on numerous committees at the local, state and national level, including the Professional Standards Review Panel. Lifelong relationships are something Jared takes a lot of pride in. Having grown up in Newton, not only does he know the area well, but Jared also knows the people in and around the Greater Boston suburbs. Building and sustaining new relationships with clients is a gift Jared thrives for. These days Jared lives in Needham with his wife, Abby, and their three children and two dogs.
