Join us for a day of free community sharing!Inspired by the Really Really Free Market movement (RRFM), this event is all about giving, sharing, and keeping usable items out of landfills.
No money. No barter. Just free!
How it works:
Register to reserve your spot by visiting recreation.southwindsor.org
Givers will be given a space in the gym to share clean, usable items in good, working order. Please plan for a space no bigger than a large picnic blanket. Givers of all ages welcome!
Everyone is welcome to stop by, browse, and take what they like—everything is completely free!
At the end of the event, all remaining items must be taken back by their owners.
Examples of items to bring:
CLEAN: Books, clothes, toys, kitchenware, small household items, craft supplies, tools, plants/seeds, CDs/DVDs, office supplies, backpacks, decorations, sports equipment, and working electronics.
Please do NOT bring:
Perishable or expired food, hazardous materials, weapons or illegal items, items missing major parts or needing major repair, or large furniture (single chairs/stools okay).
If you have larger items to give away, feel free to have photos or list items on a sign so you can connect with those who might like those items!
