Real Life Spotted Alfreton: Making Creative Communities

Come along to a social evening at The Pottery in Alfreton and tell us what creative community activity you want to see in our town.
About this Event

Have your say on how we bring more creativity to Alfreton's streets and communities whilst tucking into a buffet lunch. We'll also have a little creative activity and be ready to listen to what you have to say.

You don't need to already need to think of yourself of creative (although we know you have potential) but you do need to care about our community and be up for sharing your thoughts.

It will be an informal session where you can get to know us and what we're doing as well as us getting to know you. Everyone is welcome but we want a respectful and friendly atmosphere, no arguments please! There is no cost to attending but limited spaces so please make every effort to attend when you book a ticket.

Afternoon Tea buffet supplied by Alfreton House Tea Rooms. Tea and coffee on tap. You can let us know allergies and intolerances when you book.

We are two local residents Cerian and Jemma and we want to work with our communities to make more creative activity happen in Alfreton. This might be art workshops, exhibitions, shows, community gardens, bake offs or skills shares so get your thinking caps on!

We are running four events in total in October and November, trying to reach different parts of the community around Alfreton. Have a look at our other events and let people in your networks know if they'd like to get involved.
