About this Event
Instructors: Alexandra Johnson, MD and Kevin Johnson
Our physical health and mental health are interrelated. When our thoughts and feelings are disturbed, it’s harder for our body to find health and balance. Breema gives us simple and practical ways to bring body, mind, and feelings into balance. In these classes, we will learn and practice Self-Breema exercises and simple partner bodywork sequences that help the mind connect with the body. When the mind comes to the body, it’s like coming home—fear, anxiety, and tension are replaced by vitality and a profound feeling of harmony. We discover a part of us that’s untouched by the chaos of the world, and a way to access this balance and harmony in all our activities.
This class is ideal for anyone wishing to increase harmony in their lives, especially caregivers, teachers, or health professionals who may feel burnt-out or fatigued. As we study the comprehensive philosophy of Breema, we learn to apply the principles and philosophy in our own lives, and see that to support others, we must first start with ourselves.
Please be comfortable sitting, moving, and working on a well padded floor.
This class series is free of charge. For more information please contact the Breema Center: 510-428-0937 or [email protected]
