Bring your young reader to the Moberly Library to read with a Therapy Dogs International certified therapy dog under the diligent supervision of their handler.
This program is free and no registration is required. Attendees will receive a “Puppy Passport” to keep a record of their reading.
Why have kids read to dogs?
Recent studies show that reading to dogs can help improve a child's reading confidence and foster excitement for literacy by offering a comforting, supportive environment.
