Originally from Spring Hope, NC, Holly Brantley is a graduate student in the MFA creative writing program at NC State in Raleigh, NC. Her writing has been featured in Windhover Literary Magazine and Peatsmoke, and she was a finalist for the James Hurst Fiction Prize for fiction in 2020, 2021, and 2022. He’s currently an MFA candidate at NC State University.
Sally Parlier is a graduate student in NC State's MFA program, currently working on an Appalachian Gothic novel and co-authoring a monograph on horror film in the late Anthropocene. She is the inaugural winner of Redbud Writing Project's Coppice Prize, and her short stories appear in Seize the Press and elsewhere.
Elizabeth Swann is a first year MFA student at NC State from Charlotte, North Carolina. She loves reading and writing fiction, mostly about ordinary life and family dynamics.
