Come join us for the kickoff of the #ReadFreelyProject!
As library bills and book bans are still on the rise, it's more important than ever to encourage more deep conversations about challenging topics in our community, and get those books into the hands of the people!
With that end in mind, Rediscovered Books and The Cabin are proud to bring back the Read Freely Project for the fourth year to hand out books to the community.
This year, we are excited to partner with Water Bear Bar for our Kick Off Party and Book List Reveal on Thursday, April 18th from 4:30 PM to 7 PM.
At the Kick Off:
- Unveil our #ReadFreelyProject selections for 2024.
- All donations will be entered into drawings for great giveaways!
- Sponsor a bag of 10 copies of one of the titles for $100
- Enjoy special Read Freely Project-themed drinks from Water Bear Bar
- Blind Dates with a Book
This year, we hope to fund 100 people giving away 1,000 books, which means our goal this year is to raise $10,000.

Event is free. Registration strongly encouraged as space is limited. Walk-ups will be accommodated as we are able.
