Join Oakley, a trained therapy dog, and her handler Corina, volunteers trained through Therapy Dogs International, for a group read-aloud. Afterwards, you can sign up for a block of time to read with Oakley one-on-one! Reading with therapy dogs helps kids build excitement and confidence with reading.
This program is intended for children who are reading independently.
NOTE: Oakley needs unexpected surgery so we are canceling the January "Read with Oakley" event but she'll be back in action for February and March!
