Read & Discuss New Yorker Short Stories Meeting 3

Let's get together and discuss 2 to 3 stories from recent issues of the magazine. If you don't subscribe, you can get the magazine online from your library using the "Libby" app or else listen to the podcast "The New Yorker - The Writer's Voice".

Stories for this meeting are: "An Unashamed Proposal" by Kiran Desai (8/11 issue)(9 pp), “The Corn Woman, Her Husband, and Their Child" by Annie Proulx (8/18 issue) (12 pp), and "Something Has Come to Light" by Miriam Toews (8/25 issue)

We love if you read all three but no judgment if you can fit in only one - all are welcome.
