As part of the museum’s signature Read & Create series and Coca-Cola Christmas, join Louisiana artist Emily Welch for a special live reading of her original holiday story, "The Nutcracker: A Swamp Tail," on December 6 at 11 AM.
This festive retelling brings a Southern twist to the classic tale, followed by a hands-on, themed art activity for children and families. Don’t miss the chance to meet the author—Emily Welch will also be signing copies of her book in the Museum Store on December 6, immediately following the reading.
This program is included in museum admission and free for LASM members.
