REACHing Out Volunteer Activities - October 2025
Join us for a day of giving back at the Hunger Task Force Farm & Fish Hatchery in Franklin. This in-person event is an incredible opportunity to make a difference in our community. Together, we can lend a helping hand and make a positive impact. Whether you're passionate about farming or fishing or not, there's a role for everyone. Let's come together and create a brighter future for those in need.
We have room for 20 volunteers. Volunteers are asked to join us for a three-hour shift and to dress appropriately for working outdoors (layers are recommended along with clothing that allows maximum flexibility; closed-toe sturdy shoes are also a must).
While we won't expect you to be a farm hand pro, all volunteers should be able to lift 30+ pounds. Plan for lifting, twisting, and bending; and standing for most of the time.
T he Farm is a unique 208 acre farm that infuses half a million pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables into the food bank supply.
