SUMMARY
Innovations are a powerful tool to productivity gains. The construction industry is behind other industries in integrating these innovations. For the next decades, the investment needs are growing at Hydro-Québec. Adding to the current context, the needs for increased excellence in health-security, environment and manpower shortage require that innovations be imposed. Hydro-Québec has developed an office of innovation programs in order to integrate the most relevant innovations in its projects portfolios, as manufacturing and additive manufacturing, robotization, automation, exosqueleton and digitization of construction sites.
