“RE: Cycle” Art Night benefitting Bike Saviours is a free, community bike art event, held in the "Rocket" Creative Space Gallery in the hub of Tempe's cutting edge & experimental art scene, Danelle Plaza. This event will feature original art for purchase, created from salvaged and recycled bicycle parts, as well as live music and bike-themed art in a variety of other mediums. All proceeds from the art available for sale/donation will benefit Bike Saviours. This event will support our efforts to develop a new community art program using salvaged and recycled bike parts, and help us increase general bicycle awareness, elevate the cycling community, and support our local bicycle collective, the only nonprofit of its kind in Tempe! What to expect at RE: Cycle Art night:
-Lots of creative bike-themed art for purchase by donation
-A bike parking corral hosted by Tempe Bicycle Action Group
-Live music
-DJ music by BicycleJesus
-Educational Ghost Bike exhibit honoring 3 local ghost bikes
-Interactive Community "Art Bikes" exhibit
-Projection Art
-Bike books for children with author on hand to sign copies
-Cool bikes silent auction
-Windchimes, paintings, sculptures, jewelry, suncatchers, windcatchers, practical bike art
-Event t-shirts ($20 donation each)
-Drinks & food availble at Yucca Tap Room
-Broadmor Bike Bus
-Voter registration table
-All the cool people from the local cycling + art community
