Have you been impacted by and felt concern about affordability in Rapid City? Have you felt that your struggles are underrepresented by local leaders? Have you felt disconnected from community and powerless to change your circumstances? Have you heard of Rapid City People's Alliance?
If you came to our launch party last month or curious about our group, come and gather with us at The Journey Museum to learn about our People's Agenda. This interactive community experience is designed to introduce our road map (based on community responses) for change and give you another opportunity to collaborate in person!
What’s Happening:
Community Brainstorm (Table Talks): Skip the lectures. We’re hosting collaborative "Table Talks" where you can work directly with your neighbors on specific local topics. No fancy jargon or gatekeeping, just good conversation and big rolls of paper for your biggest ideas.
Creative Corner: Between sessions, stop by our art stations to make it official. Design and press your own custom advocacy buttons or contribute to community art pieces that represent the RCPA spirit and the future we’re building together.
There will also be more activities in the theatre to engage in as well. Everyone is welcome, so bring a friend, and let's come together as a community to make the changes we want to see!
