Group Response to Illness in Paediatric Simulation (GRIPS)
Come to GRIPS and learn how to manage the deteriorating paediatric patient with an effective team response.

This full day course will focus around the patient who deteriorates over a period of time.
Participants will concentrate on the recognition and management of the deteriorating patient with training around human factors to improve teamwork and clinical decision making.
The course includes:
Participation in inter-professional simulated scenarios.
- Training in human factors to improve our ability to work as a team in difficult clinical situations.
- Clinical skills workshops that are relevant to the theme of the day.
- Debriefing and discussion to explore the clinical problems and the team performance.
