The RCABC River’s weekend will be on Vancouver Island this year! We will primarily be paddling and camping on the Cowichan river. However, depending on water levels there may be some additional trips on the Chemainus and Nanaimo Rivers as well.
Keeners may want to arrive a couple days early or stay a day late to paddle on the preceding Thursday or following Monday.
Camping will likely be at Stoltz Pool Recreation Site, or at some other local options. Some may want to book a hotel in Duncan or an Air B&B in the Valley.
This is a FREE public event hosted by volunteers. You must have all of your own whitewater canoe gear,: helmet, PFD, canoe with floatation and suitable previous experience or training to paddle on the river. A signed RCABC waiver is required to participate.
