Throughout six weeks this spring, learn to score music to your own original video! With the instruction of local composer Sam McElroy, learn timecode, film cues, melody and mood creation, and more through weekly, interactive classes. Students will have the chance to film their own video, upload to professional software, and then have the opportunity to suggest their melodic ideas to be implemented into a finished movie... no prior music experience needed. Do you have a love for the film-music world, or an interest in some interactive creation? Then come have a blast in this program and jam out with more passionate creatives!
Instructor Bio:
Sam McElroy is a local, orchestral composer and producer. With her music, she focuses on telling stories, brought to life through her expressive improvisations. Having studied all genres of music, she continues to seek out opportunities to score anything she can, and having a blast doing so!
