RC World of Hyperfest presented by HobbyTownVARC World will be a weekend long RC Drift and Off Road RC event taking place at VIRs Gallery building during HyperFest 2022. Our goal is to make RC World a small scale Hyperfest within Hyperfest!! With a temporary Indoor drift track we’ll host RC drift demos, open practice, shows and even a tandem competition. Outdoors we’ll have a small “fun run” area including a scale rock crawler course set to test the capability of your RC off-road machinery! Join HobbytownVA and ScaleStudioRC to Compete in our 1/10th scale build accuracy contest during the RC World Car and Truck show. Grab your hobby grade, passion filled, small scale builds and join us at RC World during HYPERFEST.
**Conditions**
—RC DRIFT—
-RWD Electric 1/10th scale drift cars ONLY.
- Spec tires will be made available at event to preserve the polished concrete surface.
- Tandem comp entrants will be required to run spec tire during comp.
- Track is OPEN to all attendants who bring a RC drift car meeting conditions during all operational hours outside of event competition.
—Off Road RC—
- Bring your off road RC and have FUN.
- Please be mindful of surrounding areas at all times when operating vehicles.
- Fun Run and rock crawler courses will be run on a first come first serve basis. Please be courteous of other operators
- Course will be designed for slower speeds and low altitude jumps. We WILL NOT TOLERATE reckless or excessive bashing of your vehicle or others.
