Pastor Paul Brinkman will be our camp speaker.
The cost is $180 plus activities. There will be 8 chapel sessions and 3 workshop opportunities (multiple choices of workshops lead by pastors and their wives). There will be games and activities.
Those young people over 20 are encouraged to attend, not as campers but leaders (as invited by their pastors). The camp will essentially be run by these young adults over 20. They will have the positions of music director, games leader, points leader, dorm leaders (18 and above), team leaders, chapel leader etc. and the pastors and their wives will be attending as advisors.
Activities include team games, hydro slides, night adventure trail, cage soccer, confidence course, flying fox, mini golf, playgrounds, swimming pools, volleyball, skateboard park, pool inflatable obstacle course, airsoft course, archery, kayaks, covered spa pool, the blob, and indoor climbing!
Activities and Chapels, Great Food and Fellowship!! This yearly teen camp will be a ministry of Rotorua Bible Baptist Church.
The teens should bring their physical Bibles to camp for chapel and devotions.
Monday
3:00-4:00 arrive at camp and settle into dorms
4:00-4:30 met at chapel for welcome/team introductions/team challenge explanations/activities schedule/points explanations
4:30-5:00 organise dorms/team meetings
5:00-5:30 tea preparation/free time
5:30-6:00 tea
6:00-6:30 prepare for chapel/tea duties
6:30-7:30 chapel
7:30-9:30 night manoeuvres
9:30-10:00 devotions (curfew is 10:00)
10:30 lights out
Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday
7:00-7:15 prayer time at chapel hall - all welcome
7:15-8:00 rise and tidy cabins
8:00-8:20 devotions
8:20-8:30 breakfast preparation
8:30-9:00 breakfast
9:00-9:30 prepare for chapel/breakfast duties
9:30-10:30 chapel
10:30-10:45 morning tea/team meetings
10:45-12:20 team activities
12:20-12:30 free time/lunch preparation
12:30-1:00 lunch
1:00-2:00 free time
2:00-3:00 team activities
3:00-3:45 afternoon Bible study sessions
3:45-5:20 free time
5:20-5:30 dinner preparation
5:30-6:00 tea
6:00-6:30 free time/tea duties
6:30-6:45 prayer time/prepare for chapel
6:45-7:45 chapel
7:45-9:30 team meetings/team challenges
9:30-10:00 supper/devotions (curfew is 10:00)
10:30 lights out (winning team party on Thursday at 7:45)
Friday
7:00-7:15 prayer time at chapel hall - all welcome
7:15-8:00 rise and tidy cabins
8:00-8:20 devotions
8:20-8:30 breakfast preparation
8:30-9:00 breakfast
9:00-9:15 prepare for testimony time/breakfast duties
9:15-10:00 testimony time (giving glory to God for what He has done in your life at camp)
10:00-10:30 camp clean-up - organised by church
10:30-11:30 pack/tidy dorms/say good-byes/camp photos
