About this Event
On Bank Holiday Sunday May 26th, Reel Steel present an over-the-top piece of cult 80s exploitation cinema like no other - Raw Force (1982) - in 35mm.
Welcome to Warrior's Island, burial ground of disgraced martial arts masters, inhabited by a bizarre sect of monks who hold the power to raise the dead warriors from their graves to repel threats from outsiders.
When the Burbank Kung Fu Club travels to the mysterious island, they quickly find themselves facing the bloodthirsty vengeance of flesh-ripping, kung fu fighting zombies... along with gun-toting slave traders, deadly piranha, mercenaries, cannibals, jade crystal smugglers, and the island's strange mystical monks who may be the only key to explaining the madness.
RAW FORCE is a movie which operates under its own rules, and also doesn't have any.
A cult classic of grindhouse cinema that would have brought the world to its knees if it wasn't 10,000 years ahead of its time, if you see just one movie in your entire life, make it RAW FORCE. Trust us, you will have never seen anything quite like it.
