Welcome to the workshop - Things to know when choosing a Raw Fleece - Raw Fleece 101.

During this workshop you will learn all things Raw Fleece. You will learn what to look for and which fleeces are good for which fibre art. You will work with different breeds and step away knowing how to purchase the right fleeces for your project. Processing and washing fleeces are also topics that will be discussed. Bring tons of questions to this amazing workshop. 

Terra Dionne will be teaching this workshop. Terra is a local Master Spinner farmer and is working on becoming a Master Weaver. She raises alpacas angora goats and Gotland sheep. She shears all her animals and is a certified fleece grader. She has many many fibre art loves and has a wealth of knowledge to share. 

The workshop is part of the Silver Willow Fibre Festival. The festival is taking place Oct 4 2025 at the Lakeview Church in Saskatoon 19 Glazier road. We encourage you to follow us on facebook instagram and signup for our monthly newsletter on our website. You will be able to find all the workshop details on our website.  The doors to the festival will open at Oct 4 10am. 

This workshop is taking place FRIDAY Oct 3 3-5 pm at the Lakeview Church in Saskatoon.

No experience needed

All materials included you do not have to bring anything maybe an apron if you wish.
