About this Event
Ravel: Menuet Antique, Pavane pour une Infante Défunte, Sonatine, Miroirs, Gaspard de la Nuit, Le Tombeau de Couperin, Valses Nobles et Sentimentales, Ma Mère l’Oye.
This weekend offers an opportunity to hear most of the music composed by Ravel for the piano, from the early and celebrated “Pavane pour une Infante Défunte”, up to the exquisite refinement of the late Valses Nobles et Sentimentales. These sessions will be held in the format of concert lectures, where some biographical information will be offered, together with an analysis of the works and the style of the composer. These concerts are a tribute to the composer on the 150th anniversary of his birth.
