We're thrilled to welcome James and Deborah Dunham for their first appearances with ACS! James Dunham was for many years the violist for the legendary Cleveland Quartet, and his wife Deborah is an accomplished Baroque and classical bassist who has performed throughout the Houston area and with Santa Fe Pro Musica and Santa Fe Opera. The Dunhams will join pianist Judith Gordon, violinist Megan Holland and cellist James Holland for a program of music that includes an arrangement of Maurice Ravel's Mother Goose Suite, a duo written especially for the Dunhams by composer Pierre Jalbert, and Schubert's beloved "Trout" quintet. Join us Sunday afternoon, January 4, at 2:00 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1100 Indian School Road, with a pre-concert talk with refreshments in the fellowship hall at 1:15.
