The Rave Lounge / Open Decks is at Faculty Event Center every Thursday from 7pm - 12am. Located on 101 and Whyte, Faculty is on the South side of the road, beside Blush lane. Entry is free.
This weekly event is for anyone interested in electronic music. If you're a DJ come spin some music. If you're a dancer or a casual enjoyer of electronic music this is the place to be on a Thursday night.
Any DJ with a USB can come play. Timeslots are first come first serve, typically 15 minutes in length unless there's no one after. Sign up sheet is beside the DJ. Play whatever you want just maybe no hardstyle lol. Typically lots of house, techno, and chill electronic music.
The gear is a DJM 900 nexus mixer with a pair of CDJ 2000nxs. Export your music through Rekordbox on to a Fat32 formatted USB or SD card and you shouldn't have any problems.
