Suitable for: 🟢 Absolute beginners and above. If you’re just starting your exciting MTB journey and want to be in the company of a group of fun and supportive women, then this is the ride for you. It’s not too challenging and we cover up to a maximum of around 12km per ride. However, we will always tailor the ride to suit the riders on the day. No-one will be left behind. This is also a great ride if you’re more experienced, but want to take it easy and maybe practice some skills.Location: Scribbly Gums/Redlands Track Park is considered the best place in Southeast Queensland to start mountain biking. The northern end of the park has lots of simple trails with achievable features that help you build your skills and understand what’s involved in mountain biking.
Time: Rollout is at 3.00pm so aim to get there by 2.40pm to get ready and be briefed on the ride.
Bring: Auscycling Insurance (see below for more details), water/electrolytes, snacks, sunscreen, tools, helmet, capable mtb and your sense of humour 🤣.

Insurance and Membership: All riders must have AusCycling insurance, you are covered if you are a member of the RATS or another affiliated MTB or cycling club. If not, get a free trial AusCycling licence here, which will cover you for a few rides:
