An immersive experience of the classical arts, Rasik Rendezvous by Ishalaya aims to weave together the subtle harmonies that exist between the art, artist and their audience. We bring to you the first edition of Rasik Rendezvous with the theme of ‘Sringar’, in consonance with the arrival of spring. `Sringar`, one of the nine rasas or emotions in the classical arts, comprises of myriad hues that range from romanticism, beauty, adornment, love and longing, to many others. Spring brings with it a celebration of love, renewal and creativity expressed vibrantly through `Sringar Ras`. Ishalaya curates an evocative performance by celebrated kathak exponent - its founder, Isha Kathvate, along with a synergistic bouquet of poetry, mono-drama and music performances that together interpret and illustrate the essence of `Sringar`, in an intimate traditional baithak setting.
