On the eve of International Women’s Day, Pancham Nishad proposes to host a unique event " Rasa by Raga" a duet vocal performance by the numero uno sister duo Ranjani and Gayatri of Carnatic Music. The concept conceived by the sister duo aims to generate curiosity about Indian Classical music amongst the large segment of music lovers by transcending the perceived barriers whilst also retaining the true essence of classical music of India. We sincerely believe that a concept like "Rasa by Raga" on the eve of International Women’s Day would be a befitting salutation to all the women folk of our lives. A concert with a woman’s perception and expression of music is a celebration of her spirit of freedom to innovate and experiment with musical ideas and your association with an event like "Rasa by Raga" would enable more women musicians to work towards the preservation and promotion of this rich cultural heritage of India. The concert is scheduled to be held on Friday, 7th March 2025 from 6.30 pm onwards at TATA Theatre, NCPA, Mumbai.
