Ras Attitude & The Purity Attack

With the message of love, unity and consciousness embedded in his music, St. Croix born ‘Ras Attitude’ is a musical force to be reckoned with. His debut album ‘Happiness’ was released in 2001. Follow up albums including ‘Love Life’ (2004), ‘Holding Firm’ (2005) and ‘Royal Lionage’ (2006) established his sound. Even with his busy touring schedule in the US and Europe, he delivered three more explosive albums which highlighted his unique style: ‘Trodding Home’ (2007), ‘I Meditation’ (2009) and ‘Hold The Vibes’ (2012).

In (2014) “Most High Protect I was released, with a powerful video, reaching nearly 2 million views on YouTube. In (2016) “Marijuana (We a Bun)” came out on the “Kingston 16” riddim, reaching over 2 million views. In (2021), Attitude released “Reign and Rule” with the same kind of exciting music video that makes his releases so engaging.

He benefits from one of the hottest backing bands in all the land, The Purity Attack. This Roots Reggae Performance Unit was founded in 2021. They went to work immediately, with some of the biggest and brightest artists in Reggae music: Anthony B, Christopher Martin, Duanne Stephenson, Lutan Fyah, Chezidek; Classic Roots Reggae artists: Mykal Rose, Johnny Osbourne, Kenyatta “Culture” Hill; and Dancehall greats: General Smiley, Cutty Ranks, & Kulcha Knox.
