Master Zhu Xianghua is one of the revered teachers of instructor Steve C. from Chen Jiagou, China, the birthplace of Taiji/Tai Chi. As the son of Steve C.'s main teacher, Master Zhu is a 20th Generation Family Member of the family that invented what has become Taiji/Tai Chi today.
The Health Benefits of Meditation in Motion
This unique class will stress the profound health benefits of Tai Chi training and focused energy work. Often called "meditation in motion," the practice teaches practitioners how to consciously relax through basic exercises and the slow-moving Tai Chi form.
The gentle yet intentional movements strengthen muscles and tendons while keeping the joints flexible. By following the core principles of Tai Chi, students will learn to consciously breathe deeper, expanding lung capacity for greater health. It dynamically harmonizes the body and mind, fostering an inner quietness that easily blends with other forms of meditation.
