Rare Grapes & Blends Master Class - Barnard Griffin WOODINVILLE
Chasselas. Frappato. Xinomavro. Malvasia Volcanica. Plavic Mali. Godello. Cunoise. If these words sound like gibberish, they're not! They're the names of a handful of wine grapes that you hardly ever hear about or find on the shelf in your local wine store. Join us on February 20th and let's learn about a handful of rare and fascinating grapes! You'll get to try six different unique wines or blends from around the globe, and learn some of the amazing history behind these grapes and their home regions.
The class will be led by Alaina Crawford, Barnard Griffin's Woodinville Tasting Room Manager, who holds a Level 3 certification in Wine from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET).
This event will take place at Barnard Griffin's Woodinville tasting room from 6:30pm to 8pm on Thursday, February 20th.
- Tickets are $45 for the general public, and $40 for Barnard Griffin wine club members.
- Tasting-sized pours (approx. 1oz each) of six different wines and light palate-cleansing snacks are included (attendees must be 21+).
- You can purchase tickets directly through Eventbrite, or by calling the Woodinville tasting room at 425-671-1176. Barnard Griffin wine club members - if you register online, we will charge your card on file one week before the event.
Classes are non-refundable within 7 days of the class. If you cannot attend and it is 7 or less days until the class, you may transfer the tickets to someone else. Please communicate any scheduling conflicts with Barnard Griffin ([email protected]).
***PARKING INFORMATION*** Retail parking is located in the garage on 133rd Ave NE, just remember your license plate for validation in the tasting room.
