Let’s be honest. The holidays are not always the most wonderful time of the year. Family gatherings can be warm and fuzzy, BUT they don’t always bring out the best in us. Old hurts, baffling behavior, and toxic personality traits lurk around every turn, knocking us off-kilter.
It’s time to stop dreading the problem and hoping it will disappear if you ignore it. You can’t change anyone else, but you can absolutely change your reaction to them. Choose how you want to feel and we will wire it into your brain. Come have one of your triggers permanently rewired at this free 90-minute event.
Here's what's we will cover in this 90-minute live virtual online gathering:
Part 1: Identify your triggers
- We will use a fun, simple, “gamified” approach to capture a list of the triggers you expect to deal with.
- (Be as honest as possible. Truly, if these triggers are petty it makes it easier).
Part 2: Rewire a trigger
- Pick one trigger you’d like a new reaction to.
- Choose how you would like to feel, and we will rewire the trigger so you feel that desired emotion instead.
- Learn a simple self-hypnosis technique you can practice in two minutes a day to reinforce your new mindset (or use for other changes you want to make).
Part 3: Centering YOU
- Knowing your values, wants, and needs is essential. I’ll share a simple tool to help.
- We will briefly touch on preparing a list of supports and resources.
- Walk away knowing how to plan to get your needs met so this year feels so much better than the past.
This is about showing up to those holiday gatherings as the most confident, rock-solid, steady version of yourself. About having a fun time and not letting triggers bump you off your joy and cheer. Your unconscious mind is intelligent af. Your body holds the answers. It’s time to stop trying to think your way through your old emotional patterns and shift your brain. I’ll take you through it.
