On Friday, January 9th, some of the most exciting rising acts from across the MD/DC region come together for a show that highlights raw lyricism, authentic storytelling, and the evolving sound of the culture.
Doors open at 7:00 PM, and performances begin promptly at 7:30 PM—setting the tone for an unforgettable evening of real hip-hop in an intimate venue known for supporting underground music. This event is 18+ with a $10 entry, featuring a stacked lineup and sounds by Baspy of Benefactor Events, bringing the heartbeat of the night with curated underground energy.
Headlining the night is Demetrius, one of Frederick’s most premier artists and a defining voice in the city’s growing hip-hop movement. Known for his sharp pen, commanding stage presence, and ability to bridge soulful depth with high-energy delivery, Demetrius continues to set the bar for rising Frederick talent.
Representing the DC area, L.E.A.N brings a commanding voice rooted in traditional hip-hop craftsmanship. A fierce female lyricist with razor-sharp delivery, she fuses classic boom-bap elements with the hype, percussion-heavy energy engraved in DMV culture. Her performances are charged, intentional, and unforgettable.
Adding to the lineup is Culture Truss, the dynamic duo of PG County artists JaySanityy and Orisha Blackk. Together, they bring a refreshing blend of lyricism, rhythm, and innovative flare—pushing boundaries while honoring the roots of Maryland hip-hop. Their chemistry, versatility, and fearless creative approach make them one of the most exciting new groups in the scene.
Rounding out the night is SoberrLijj, a fresh face to the Maryland scene and a Frederick-based artist by way of NYC. His raw hunger, gritty tone, and East Coast influence make him a standout among emerging underground acts.
