The Tempe Ranger guided hike will teach you about flora, fauna and geological features of the southwest desert. It is a "moderate" difficulty-level two mile hike through the Papago Preserve. It will start at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26.
This FREE event requires registration at tempe.gov/play, using code 85472.
Come prepared with weather-appropriate clothing, plenty of water and closed-toe shoes.
Parking/meeting note:
We will meet at the ballfield parking lot at Papago Park, 1000 N. College Ave. Tempe (NW corner of Curry Rd. and College Ave.).
