A visual journey into fields forests and festivals ‘Rangeen’ brings forth vibrant colours of the melas (festive fairs) of central India.
Through portraits landscapes and sketches in acrylic and oil pastelartist Anup Shrivastava brings to life the colours and energy of the Bhagoria mela and other indigenous celebrations of the region.The exhibition celebrates the joy of these festivals with rich depictions of Palash trees harvested fields and villagers adorned in vivid hues.
The open-to-all exhibition will be held at the recently unveiled Urmila Kailash Black Box space and the White Gallery at Kanoria offering a striking immersive and memorable visual experience. The show will be opened by eminent artist Akhilesh at 5pm 19th October followed by a walkthrough by artist Anup Shrivastava.
Rangeen is presented in collaboration with Studio Champa a lifestyle store and curated by aesthete and interior designer Sargam Sharma.Together they offer urban audiences an opportunity to witness and immerse themselves in the vibrant festivals of central India.
