Writer/performer Randy Ross will discuss his new novel The Squid and the Spaceman, a dysfunctional love story that explores the fluid nature of intimacy, independence, and bodily functions. Squid also addresses the question: How much can – and should – you change for someone you love?
Randy Ross is a Boston-area writer, performer, and former executive editor for PC World magazine. His fiction and humor have appeared in The Drum, Black Heart Magazine, and Calliope, among others. He is the author of two novels: God Bless Cambodia (The Permanent Press/2017) and The Squid and the Spaceman (Epsilon Books/Oct. 2024). His one-man shows have been featured at more than 30 theater festivals around the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. He is an FPAC member and co-founder of the New England Indie Authors Collective.
