About this Event
Join Jules in the Botanic Gardens in Batemans Bay and learn the contemporary 'random weave' technique.
Transform plant fibres into baskets, platters, wall hangings and sculptures immersed in nature at the Botanic Gardens.
No weaving experience required. All materials supplied and morning tea served.
You'll prep, shape and complete at least one piece, and practice the skills to continue creating at your own pace.
This hands-on workshop includes:
- Guidance on plant fibre collection and preparation for sustainable art
- All weaving materials including foraged Bangalow palm inflorescence
- Nutritious + delicious morning tea.
Bring a friend and save $20 each.
Minimum 6 participants to proceed.
The workshop will be held in the Spotted Gum Pavilion. Please park near the entrance to the Gardens cafe and shop.
