It wasn't supposed to happen! For those that remember Random Pressure, who played the Vancouver, Oregon City, Portland area from 2008-2015, we're back! In 2021 founding members Marty McCray-guitar/vocals along with Norm Whitehurst-drums/vocals and Pat Yadon-vocals (from Jennifer Batten and Full Steam) got together for fun with Marty's cousin and LONG time bassist, Jeff Munkers (Kooltones, Dung Beatles) to re-learn a couple sets from the RP catalog just for fun. No intention of playing out again. Then late last year we were approached by Marty's Niece who asked if we could play as RP for her 50th BD party. So....we learned about 3 sets of our old material, added Cam Dutz (Kooltones) on Sax and Vocals, rehearsed for about 3 months and did the gig. Huge turn out! Word got out and...here we are! We don't know how far this will go because we're all so OLD! But we still sound like Random Pressure! So, for those that have heard of us but never got to see us, we play a great mix of classic rock songs from Journey, Foreigner, Styx, Kansas, Boston, Sting, Henley, Toto, etc. Lot's of songs you don't get to hear in the clubs these days. We even play slow songs!! ;- ) And for those that have never even heard of us, look up Random Pressure on YouTube and you'll get an idea of some the the fun we used to have! Can't wait to play!
