On Friday, September 12th, The Mill Craft Bar + Kitchen will once again host an unforgettable evening in support of the R&R Empowering Society of Alberta.
For the third year in a row, we’re bringing people together to enjoy great food, live music, and community spirit—all while raising funds to support Alberta’s youth through sport, art, and life-enriching programs.
Founded by Tracy Stark in memory of her sons Ryder and Radek, whose lives were tragically cut short in 2016, the R&R Empowering Society honors their legacy by creating opportunities for growth, connection, and wellness among youth and seniors alike. Working closely with the community, the Society helps Albertans reach their full potential, while fostering meaningful bonds and supporting mental wellness throughout the province.
Join us for a special night featuring live entertainment by Edmonton’s own Mourning Wood, a delicious handcrafted buffet, and a silent auction filled with incredible items from local businesses. Fare for the evening includes:
•Hand-carved roast beef with house-made Yorkshire pudding and au jus
•Grilled chicken breast
•Pierogies and roasted vegetables
•Caesar, Tuscan, and macaroni salads
We are delighted to present Mourning Wood as the first act to grace our new stage in the newly-renovated Mill Craft Bar + Kitchen – this important fundraiser is part of our “Raise the Roof” Grand Re-Opening Weekend, giving Edmontonians the opportunity to experience our newly-revealed vaulted ceiling, brand new washrooms, acoustic tile ceiling feature, and a new central performance space that makes every seat a contender for “best seat in the house”.
Proceeds from this event will help break down financial barriers for young Albertans, providing access to sports, arts, equipment, and mentorship programs that build resilience, confidence, and community.
