Advanced/intermediate session 9 AM to 12 noon. Walk Trot/Green Loper session. 12:30-3:30pm Join us for another stellar clinic on everything that is ran! Whether you are a beginner new to the sport or an advanced rider who would like to fine-tune their skills for the new show year, we welcome you! 36 Year Career Judge and World Champion Trainer Jennifer Sawyer will guide you through the ups and downs of competition. Whether you are learning new skills or you are refining the ones you have, get ready for a whole lot of learning and a whole lot of fun!
Group 1 Advanced/Intermediate Session
9am-10:30am Ranch Reining and Ranch Riding… improve your handle, speed, control, and the ability to get the big scores in the maneuver box. Focus on turns, stops, flow, and pace in your performance.
Move to grass area
10:45-12pm Ranch Trail… how to stay out of the penalty box and develop strategy for higher level competition. Focus on the more difficult obstacles, including the log drag, roping, lateral maneuvers, as well as using the extended trot and extended lope to your advantage within your pattern.

Group 2 Walk Trot/Green Lopers
12:30-2pm Ranch Rail and Ranch Riding… developing the gaits, feel, transitions, connection and partnership to be successful in the core classes. Practice on the rail as a group, as well as pattern practice. Working out issues that are encountered early in competition.
Move to grass area.
2:15-3:30pm Introduction to Ranch Trail… learn the ins and outs of the ranch trail class and how it is so different from city Trail. Hone in on how the judge scored your run and how to stay out of the penalty box. Introduction to basic elements which include the gate, log work, log drag, etc..
* choose whether you would prefer/fit in the morning session or afternoon. Or bring two horses of different skill levels and ride in both. You may also audit one session and ride in the other if you wish. The same horse rider combination may not attend both sessions as we are aiming to streamline instruction and give proper attention to the skill level that is needed.
